Methodology and sources

Every figure in the calculator is computed from the face value the organizer sets. We compare two platforms — the only two whose rates we can document. Where a platform doesn't publish its rates, we don't guess and we show no figure.

Going. — 10% gross from the organizer

On its published self-service (self-boarding) tariff, Going. takes 10% of the organizer's sales, and the organizer may add a service fee for the fan — observed between 4% and 6%. In the calculator we model the buyer fee at the upper bound of that observation (6%).

The caveat that must accompany every rendering of “10%”: Going.'s own tariff is internally inconsistent — the table computes the cut from gross, while §7(5) of the same document computes it from net. So we never print a bare “10%”, only “10% gross” with that note.

Going. pays out about 19–22 days after the end of the month in which the event took place.

Resident Advisor — 0% from the organizer, +13% to the fan

Resident Advisor takes nothing from the organizer — the promoter receives the full face value — and shows the fee added to the fan as one figure under its own label “Ticket including RA fee”.

RA does not publish this rate. We measured it on 26 Jul 2026 across nine price points on two live-selling Warsaw events; the multiplier is 1.13 on every point. This is a measurement, not a published tariff — and we don't call it one.

A large promoter (Unsound) negotiated roughly 5.6%, so RA's rate is not uniform — we don't write that “RA always takes 13%”.

Measured points (face value → the figure the fan sees), Warsaw, 26 Jul 2026:
30.00 zł→ 33.90 zł
40.00 zł→ 45.20 zł
50.00 zł→ 56.50 zł
70.00 zł→ 79.10 zł
80.00 zł→ 90.40 zł
95.00 zł→ 107.35 zł
100.00 zł→ 113.00 zł
125.00 zł→ 141.25 zł
71.00 zł→ 80.25 zł

The Strobo fee — exactly the one in checkout

We compute payment processing with the exact formula the app uses at checkout: floor((price × 16 + 500) / 1000) grosze plus a fixed 1 zł. It's a pass-through of Stripe's cost (BLIK: 1.6% + 1 zł), not margin — the platform takes nothing from the ticket price.

One deliberate rounding in our disfavour: at checkout the fixed 1 zł is charged once per order, whereas here it is charged per ticket, because the whole comparison is framed “per ticket”. The per-ticket model slightly overstates our own fee versus a real multi-ticket order, so the saving shown is a floor.

Plans and limits

You choose a plan by monthly ticket volume. Above a paid plan's limit you pay 0.20 zł per ticket — no step tiers. On Free, sales stop at the limit and we don't run up a bill.

Annual = ten times the monthly price (two months free). Enterprise is quoted “from 2,199 zł/mo”, always as an estimate, not an offer.
